Getting a fast answer
If something isn't working, including these details saves a round trip:
- which app, and the version number (it's on the app's settings screen);
- your device and OS version — for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2";
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
- a screenshot or screen recording if you can.

For feed, waste desk, counters or display issues, include your region settings and whether you are on light or dark mode.
StampSnap
The stamp isn't appearing on my photo
Check that StampSnap has camera permission in your device settings, and that you're opening the saved stamped copy rather than the original camera-roll image.
Can I change what the stamp says?
Yes — the date and time come from your device, and you can add your own caption text before saving.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. StampSnap works on your device and doesn't upload your photos. See the Privacy Policy.
Is there an Android version?
Yes — StampSnap is on Google Play for Android phones and tablets.
Local Springs
A place is missing, or the details are wrong
Adding a new spring saves it on your device; it does not publish it to the shared catalogue. Use “Report an issue” on an existing listing to send a correction, or contact support@kpstudio.au about a missing place. Suggestions sent by email open in your mail app for you to review and send.
The map isn't showing places near me
Check that location permission is granted in your device settings. You can also pan and search the map manually without granting location.
Is the information verified?
Listings come from public sources and user contributions and can go out of date. Always check conditions locally before entering water — see our Terms of Use.
Do I need an account, and how do I request deletion?
Local Springs 1.0.11 on iOS and Android does not provide account creation or login. Saved places and selected photos are stored on your device. For information you previously sent through an issue report or support email, including through an earlier version, contact support@kpstudio.au with your request. Removing the app does not delete information already sent to us, and device backups are managed separately through your device settings.
LocalList

I'm not getting proximity alerts
Alerts need Location set to Always (not just "While Using") and notifications allowed, both in your device settings. Alerts are also off by default — turn them on per place, or for the whole list in Settings.
Alerts fire when the place is shut
Where opening hours are available LocalList holds the alert until the place is open. If hours aren't published for that place it can't know — mark it visited or turn its alert off.
Does my list leave my device?
No. There is no account and no server of ours holding your list, which also means uninstalling the app deletes it. Place searches do go to Google Places (or an OpenStreetMap fallback) to return suggestions.
Billing and refunds
Purchases are handled by the stores, so refunds go through them:
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund from your Google Play order history.
If a store declines something you think is fair, email us and we'll do what we can to help.
Privacy requests
To ask what information we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email support@kpstudio.au with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Feature requests and feedback
Genuinely welcome. Small studios can act on good suggestions quickly — several shipped features started as a one-line email.
