Timestamped photos for your rental condition report

Moving in or out? Photos are your record of the property's condition. StampSnap burns the date, time and a caption into each photo, so the context stays attached when you email, print or upload them.

Why a visible stamp

Your phone keeps the date in hidden metadata, and email, messaging apps and many upload forms strip it. A stamp in the image itself survives sharing, screenshots and printing.

Room by room

  1. Before you move anything in, set a caption for the first room, such as "Kitchen".
  2. Shoot each room wide, then close up on marks, stains, chips and damage. Add the detail to the caption: "Bedroom 2 — carpet stain by door".
  3. Cover what tends to be disputed: walls, floors and carpets, benchtops, the oven, windows and screens, blinds and the garden.
  4. Photograph the meters, keys and smoke alarms while you're there.
  5. Keep the photos, and attach copies when you return your signed condition report.
  6. At move-out, repeat with the same captions so every "before" has an "after".

Your photos stay yours

No account, no ads, no tracking. Photos stay on your phone until you choose to share them.
